  Overall this is a horrible place to get admitted to. Next time we will take our chance going to the Calgary hospitals.

  Finally, we basically carry him upright into the hospital. As he's screaming in pain, we have every nurse just looking in our direction as we're asking everyone for help. Finally one nurse walks past and we ask for help and she blatantly tells us "Well I'm not touching him"

  After walking him to the furthest room in the hospital with NO HELP FROM HOSPITAL STAFF we got him comfortable and relaxed(as much as possible) until the doctor came.

  WHY WOULD WE CALL AN AMBULANCE WHEN THERE IS A STRETCHER 25 FEET AWAY FROM YOU?! AND WE'RE AT THE EMERGENCY DOORS ANYWAY?!?!

  It's never really fun to go to the hospital, but these folks were nice and the service was fast. There were a few nurses there with a great sense of humor #emerge

  if you need to get to a hospital, call an ambulance and dont yell at hospital staff if you dont know what their job is there.

  A family member comes in with a severe back injury, we called and asked for a stretcher 10 minutes before arriving, we get there and the nurse comes out with a wheelchair. He was unable to move at all and was laying in the back of a vehicle upon arrival- there was no way he's going to bend and sit in a chair.

  great place to go. unfortunatly the majority of the public belives that everyone that works at a hospital is a nurse. the dress code says all staff need to wear scrubs and 50-60% of people working there are administrative workers and can only direct you to the best place. if you are too unwell to walk through the hospital doors, it is the LAW that a paramedic be called to bring you in due to insurance. if a nurse were to come out of the hospital and help an injured person inside, they are out side of the hospitals insurance and can be sued personally for any injury.

  You're a nurse, it's your job to assist patients that arrive. You don't get to pick and choose who to help.
